WEST VALLEY NAACP WOMEN CELEBRATE WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH!
NAACP BLACK CONSUMER ADVISORY ISSUED
The NAACP issued the BLACK CONSUMER ADVISORY to inform and caution Black consumers about the ongoing and intentional rollback of nationwide diversity, equity, and inclusion commitments. We encourage you to spend your money where you're respected, support Black-owned businesses, and demand businesses prioritize people over profit. Above all, we must continue to advocate for policies that insure people of color, women, veterans, those with a disability, and all protected groups have equal access to opportunities across the country. READ THE BLACK CONSUMER ADVISORY.
The WV NAACP Political Action Committee arranged a visit with the Arizona House of Representatives. A meet and greet session was held with Arizona House Members Quanta Crews (D-District 26), Mariana Sandoval (D-District 23), Lorena Austin (D-District 9), and Walter Blackman (R-District-7).
Despite the mounting challenges posed by bills targeting marginalized communities, our committee remains steadfast in our pursuit of securing civil rights and safeguarding the laws that shape our future. By actively engaging with influential representatives across party lines, we ensure that our voices are amplified and the laws we rely on are protected. The urgency of our fight compels us to relentlessly advocate for justice, accountability, and equality on behalf of all individuals.
As we continue to deepen our understanding of the legislative process, we are grateful for the invaluable partnerships formed with esteemed House Representatives. These alliances empower us to champion the vital social change that our communities demand and deserve.
